Al Ahly’s first-team completed the team’s final training session ahead of our trip to Sudan to face Al Merrikh SC on 3 April in Matchday 5 of the CAF Champions League group stage.
The session lasted for 60 minutes as our players did some fitness exercises and ball drills. The session was rounded off with a training game at El Tetsh stadium.
Al Ahly’s Egyptian international players, Mohamed El Shenawy, Mohamed Magdy Afsha, Yasser Ibrahim, Mohamed Hany, Mohamed Sherif, and Amr El Soulia, joined Al Ahly’s training session on Wednesday.
The six players are back to training after they completed their international duty with the Egyptian national team.
Also, Taher Mohamed Taher and Ahmed Ramadan Beckham, Al Ahly’s players in Egypt’s Olympic team, took part in the training while Akram Tawfik did some exercises at the gym.
On a similar note, Mostafa Shobir, Salah Mohsen, and Aliou Dieng participated in the training for the second day in a row as they returned to the team’s full training on Tuesday.
The Red Eagles will fly to Sudan on Wednesday to face Al Merrikh SC on 3 April at Al Hilal stadium in Matchday 5 of the CAF Champions League group stage.
